Andrew Corsi The way Phil makes the music wash over you like the pre-recorded wind samples in the album, mysteriously comforting with a sense of awe, really cements his skill at blurring the lines between the sounds of his home, and the music that he writes. There are very few musicians out there who can effortlessly draw the listener into any kind of atmosphere, especially one that blends the elemental, the meditative, the brutal, and the beautiful.
